…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………Read what some parent’s have to say about the youth cheerleading program:

~Having my daughter Lanah in cheerleading help her with her confidence and self-esteem. She also made new friends or what she would call sisters and caught up with the old. She has excitement in her eyes that would put a smile on your face for you can tell she loves what she does and believes in herself. Thanks you EFFA for all you have done for my daughter.
Sarah Carson

~This will be Abriell’s 5th year of cheerleading, she absolutely LOVES it!! It has totally boosted her confidence level and proved to herself what she can do out on the field, becuase of cheer she has taken gymnastics classes and dance.. We love our cheer family!

~When we first moved to Easthampton, my daughter was very shy and quiet. We found the cheer program and thought we would give it a try. Through this program I have watched my daughter blossom. She has made some great friends, has become more outgoing and has learned what teamwork is all about. Her self esteem has skyrocketed and she is no longer that shy little girl she was when we first came into town. She has bonded with her teammates and coaches, formed life long friends as well as learned life long lessons. Not only has she grown with this program but it has made her a better person.
Tracie Blakely

~Since starting cheer Mya has learned how to commit herself to something she loves. She has made so many friends and has learned the true value of teamwork. She has also gained more athletic ability, and is less weary about trying something new. I believe it has boosted her self-esteem tremendously. I love to see her practicing her cheers, and even teaching her cheers to her little cousins. I’m so glad I started her in something so great, and believe she will continue to grow and learn for years to come.

~Cheer has helped Takara open up and make friends easier! She is not a shy lil girl!! She looks forward to cheer season!!!       Thank you!!

~EFFA Cheerleaders Rock! As a new parent to the sport of Cheerleading, I wanted to share a few insights and thoughts about EFFA Cheerleading. First I would strongly encourage you to consider enrolling your child into this fun and confidence building sport. The 3 day summer intensive is a good way to start your child out; its lots of fun and the kids learn basic skills, discipline and team building to prepare them for the upcoming season. Once the bi-weekly cheer practice sessions start, it’s work, work, work for the girls, as they learn to strengthen their bodies, take leadership roles and share their skills. Soon after it’s ordering work-out uniforms and Full game day dress uniforms. You begin to see the excitement build in each girl, as their confidence in themselves builds. Then it’s the First Game of the season! You can’t believe how much the girls have improved, how coordinated and strong and loud they are, as they place their “Flyers” up, up high on top of the girls holding the base, intact, and remembering the rule ” No Girl hits the Ground”. The cheering, the chants, the smiles and the team, all a part of Cheerleading for EFFA! The icing on the cake? When you get that call from the homeroom teacher asking what happened to your daughter, I can’t believe the change in her this year! She is so confident, and social and happy! What a difference EFFA Cheerleading has made in these young girls, I’ve seen it first hand in my own kids. It really is unbelievable, and it speaks directly to the skill of the coaches and the commitment of the EFFA to it’s Cheerleading Athletes.         By Nancy Marhefka Easthampton, MA
